The Common Family : The descendants of David Rogerson Williams, II (1822 - 1907) and Katharine Boykin Miller (1827 - 1876) are considered to be part of The Common Family. This web site is dedicated to improving The Common Family's understanding of its past and communications in the present.

In 1885, David R. Williams, II (1822 - 1907) inherited Mulberry Plantation in Camden, South Carolina from his uncle, James Chesnut IV. Mulberry is still owned today by members of The Common Family. It holds many of the family's genealogy records.
David & Katharine Williams, II had six children who in turn had twelve children who had children. These are known as the Twelve Branches of The Common Family. Their descendants are invited to join The Common Family Society (use Membership link). Members will have full access to this web site and be asked to contribute to the site.
